I used to work as the Head of Investment Services at the Wales Tourist Board. Now I am in the process of setting up a new tourism business called "Self-catering for Softies". I will be offering 5* accommodation with all inclusive high quality extras eg towels and bathrobes, bedlinen, toileteries and a generous welcome hamper. Optional extras will also be available e.g. ready meals, housekeeping services, in- house catering, chauffeur, walking and birdwatching guides.
In the near future I will be able to offer two very different properties for holiday let. The first available on 16 July 2004, will be Porthmeurig, a spacious one bedroom apartment with a wonderful view of North Beach and harbour in Tenby, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales.
Cefnmeurig, our 4 bedroom farmhouse on the Pembrokeshire/Carmarthenshire border, will be available for let from Easter 2005. The 98 acre farm has been occupied by my family since 1747 but the farmhouse has been empty for 13 years. I am in the middle of a major restoration project which is being covered by the Saturday Homes section of the Western Mail newspaper starting 29 May.
Sometimes my blog will be tongue in check and other times serious.
Hiking in Wales, Birdwatching, Welsh history, Family history, Good food and wine.
